From 0 o¡¯clock on June 1st, 2007 to 24 o¡¯clock on June 30th, 2007, there are infectious disease reports in all 90 counties (cities, districts) in the province. There are altogether 18 notifiable infectious diseases in both Cateogry A and B, involving 17411 cases, 19 among which died. There is no report on Bubonic plague, infectious SARS, polio, human cases of high pathogenic bird flu infection, epidemic encephalitis B, anthrax, diphtheria, brucellosis, and leptospinosis.
The five most-reported diseases in June, 2007 are tuberculosis, hepatitis B, syphilis, and bacillary dysentery, accounting for 86.54% of the total cases. The death report for the diseases includes tuberculosis (9 cases), rabies (3 cases), hepatitis (2 cases), AIDS (2 cases), syphilis (1 case), epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis (1 case), and newborn tetanus (1 case).
