¡¡Mao Linsheng, male, was born in January1954 in Tiantai of Zhejiang Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in February 1975 and began professional career in January 1971. Mao served successively as soldier of the People¡¯s Liberation Army, worker of Linhai Fertilizer Factory of Zhejiang Province, political assistant, Vice Secretary of the Communist Youth League of Zhejiang Chemical College, Vice Secretary and Secretary of the Communist Youth League of Zhejiang Chemical College, Vice Secretary and Secretary of Communist Youth League of Zhejiang University of Technology, Secretary of the Communist Youth League of Zhejiang Province, Standing Member of Huzhou Municipal Party Committee and Party Secretary of Changxing County, Vice Director-general of the United Front Work Department of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, Director-general and Party Secretary of the Commission of Ethnic and Religion Affairs  of Zhejiang Provincial Government, Party Secretary and Director-general of the People¡¯s Congress of Quzhou City, Deputy Party Secretary, Acting Mayor and Mayor of Hangzhou City. Mao was elected Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province in April 2004.
