Gasoline and Diesel Prices Rise Today
2012-2-9

On February 7th, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) declared that since the zero hour of February 8th, gasoline and diesel prices were going to increase 300 yuan per ton nationwide. Equivalently, the retail prices of gasoline No.90 and gasoline No.0 are going up 0.22 and 0.26 yuan per liter on average.

The officer in charge of NDRC said that since this year the international market petrol prices continue to rise with some fluctuations. Raising domestic refined oil products prices properly according to the current price formation mechanism is conductive to mobilizing the production enthusiasm of refining enterprises, guaranteeing the domestic market supply, guiding the reasonable social consumption and meanwhile promoting energy saving and emission reduction.
