It was learned from the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security yesterday that our province has almost eliminated urban ¡°Zero-Employment Households¡± during the international financial crisis, achieving the goal of ¡°Zero Base Number, Zero Dynamic Increase¡± with at least one employed resident in urban ¡°Zero-Employment household¡±.

The latest statistics show that since last year, in addition to original statistics, Zhejiang has eliminated more than 500 urban zero-employment families helping 900 urban residents find jobs. The number of newly employed urban residents in the province has reached 344,200 from January to May, achieving 54.03% of the goal of the whole year. An accumulated total of 139,500 urban layoffs were helped to get employed.
