Recently, "the Layout and Construction Planning of Coastal Standard Fishing Ports in Zhejiang" has been officially promulgated for its implementation. According to its requirements, Zhejiang Province will invest 2.969 billion yuan to build 69 standard fishing ports, including 8 state-level center ports.
 
According to the "Planning", there will be a standard fishing port system in Zhejiang to effectively prepare the ports against the typhoon, with the state-level center ports as the leader, the first and second level ports as the backbone, the third level ports as its base, and the natural port of refuge as supplement.

It is learned that the "Planning" proposed the spatial layout of the standard coastal fishing ports of Zhejiang ¨C ¡°One axis, four groups and nine districts¡±. "One axis" refers to building modern fishing ports with its main line of some key fishing ports in Zhoushan, Ningbo, Taizhou and Wenzhou; "four groups¡± refers to establishing four large fishing port groups, with four major cites of marine fisheries as its base; "nine districts" mainly take the state-level center ports as the leader to integrate logistics, people flow, information flow, and capital flow while exploring the fishing ports¡¯ derivative functions for its sustainable development.
