On the 12th and 13th January, Shaoxing County held its Ninth An¡¯chang Dec. Festival. Clustered around by crowds of people, the old town street turns into a zoo with a strong sense of festivity. Colorful old folk-custom activities in Shaoxing, such as sugar pulling, sausage filling, rice-cake pounding, wish making, folk-play watching, and traditional lion and dragon dancing, attract tourists to pour in to taste the strong sense of festivity.
