17 Dead in 10,000 A/H1N1 Flu Cases in Zhejiang

The provincial Department of Health notified today that 10,889 A/H1N1 influenza cases have been confirmed in Zhejiang until 24:00 p.m., December 15th, of which 9403 were cured. The number of severe cases has arrived at 634, of which 343 were cured and 17 died. Besides, a total of 1,470,450 people in our province had A/H1N1influenza vaccine shots.

According to the notification, 1012 A/H1N1flu cases were newly confirmed in Zhejiang last week (from December 7th to 13th), of which 366 were under hospital care and 4 died. They are a 3-year-old boy from Guizhou, a 42-year-old man from Jiangxi, a 19-year-old woman from Sichuan and a 9-year-old girl from Wenzhou.
