The recent cold weather in Zhejiang Province facilitates the spread of A/H1N1 virus. According to the statistics from provincial department of health, by 3 p.m. November 19, there had been 5753 reported cases diagnosed with A/H1N1 in Zhejiang Province, among which 4645 cases had been cured. Among 38 reported severe cases, 12 were cured and 1 died. The A/H1N1 flu is fast spreading in Zhejiang. Seeing from the current situation, the pandemic A/H1N1 infections have come to the stage of rapid growth, said Mo Shi Hua, chief epidemic disease expert from Zhejiang Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, when interviewed on November 19.
