The Second H1N1 Flu Vaccination Program to Be Conducted in Zhejiang in Mid November

As is learned from the provincial Department of Health, the second batch of 1.24 million H1N1 flu vaccines allotted by the Ministry of Public Health will be administered to teachers and students of some schools in Zhejiang from mid November. Up to now 800,000 vaccines have arrived and another 440,000 vaccines are to arrive before mid November.
Up to 5 pm this afternoon, altogether 597,620 people have received the vaccination (taking up 71.1% of the expected number of 840,000 of the first vaccination program which is to be completed before the end of this month). There are 143 adverse reaction reports, most of which are light reactions such as the injection site inflammation. There¡¯s no report of severe adverse reaction.
The provincial Department of Health reported that by 3 pm this afternoon, the accumulated total of confirmed cases of H1N1 flu amounted to 4272, with 47 patients being treated in the hospital and 728 at home.
