A Severe A/H1N1 Patient Dies in Ningbo

The Health Bureau of Zhejiang Province reported that early yesterday morning, a severe case of A/H1N1 flu died in Ningbo after medical treatment failed.

The 60-year-old patient was from Zhenhai, Ningbo, a local self-employee with a medical history of an essential high blood pressure and a chronic obstructive lung disease. On Oct.18, the patient was admitted to Ningbo Lihuili Hospital for treatment after his illness of flu became serious. At 5:30 A.M. of Nov. 3, the patient died from multiple organ failure after medic treatment failed, two days after he was tested negative for the A/H1N1 flu virus and his A/H1N1 flu was cured.
It is also reported from the Health Bureau of Zhejiang Province that up till 3 o¡¯clock yesterday afternoon, Zhejiang has 5 cases of A/H1N1 flu in critical conditions, among which, two cases were discharged from hospital and two are still in hospital for treatment except today¡¯s death case.
