People in Zhejiang to Receive H1N1 Flu Vaccines from Oct. 29

It¡¯s learnt from the Provincial Department of Health that the first batch of 840,000 H1N1 Flu Vaccines has reached Zhejiang according to the overall arrangement of the Ministry of Public Health and the free vaccination work will be carried out from Oct. 29 in Zhejiang. As required by the Ministry of Public Health, the subjects to be first vaccinated will be medical staff and public service workers (mainly including personnel from public transport companies, staff from departments of Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine, public security policemen, and frontier forces) and they each will receive an injection of the H1N1 Flu Vaccines.

Cong Liming, director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention said that 840,000 H1N1 Flu Vaccines have been purchased with over 18 million yuan by the Provincial Government and they have been currently distributed to 11 cities and related counties (districts).
