The Zhejiang Provincial Government held an audio/visual conference yesterday on reconstruction assistance work. It urged departments at all levels to make every possible effort to do a good job in reconstruction assistance, with an aim to finish the work within two years, one year ahead of schedule, and enable people in disaster-stricken areas to lead a happy life earlier.

Qingchuan, the target of assistance of Zhejiang Province, is among the three areas which were hit most severely by the disaster in China. The reconstruction assistance task is tough since a wide area of the county was affected by the disaster. The schedule is made even tighter by the site selection of the county capital. Since last year, the targeted assistance work of Zhejiang has gone smoothly and proved fruitful. Up to the end of September this year, Zhejiang had finished 2.71 billion yuan worth of reconstruction assistance workload, and completed 116 projects, which has laid a solid foundation for the victory of reconstruction assistance work of Zhejiang.
