It was learned from the provincial Food and Drug Administration yesterday that the registration application to produce H1N1 Influenza A Vaccine (Split Virion) from Zhejiang Tianyuan Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. had been approved by the State Food and Drug Administration and Tianyuan had obtained the new drug certificate and the authentication code, which meant that the H1N1 influenza A vaccine produced by Tianyuan would be on the market once it had been tested and approved by the state.

It is learned that the approved vaccine has two specifications for the inoculation and vaccination of people over the age of 3. At present, the company has a monthly production capacity of vaccine enough for 2.5 million people. The first batch of vaccine for over 2 million people has been sent to the National Institute for the Control of Pharmaceutical and Biological Products for official issue and will be on the market once approved.
