Tangjiahe-Qingchuan Road is a major section on the northern tourism link in Sichuan, and the Qingxi-Maoxiangba section of Tangjiahe-Qingchuan Road is an important access to Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve. Adversely affected by May 12 Wenchuan earthquake, much of the road surface and roadbed was undermined.

May 11 is a day when reconstructors cheered for the successful completion of the first phase of Tangjiahe-Qingchuan Road ¨C the first reconstruction project launched after the earthquake in Qingchuan County and the first completed project aided by Wenzhou.
