In the past three years, Zhejiang enterprises have kept increasing their investments in Sichuan Province year by year. On the 9th of April, Mr. Tang Jingen, Chairman of Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Sichuan, gave a brief introduction in an interview.

¡°In 2006, Zhejiang businessmen invested 14.9 billion yuan in Chengdu and other parts of Sichuan. That was the first peak of investment. The Sichuan market got more happy surprises in 2007 and 2008 when our investment hit new highs. Especially last year, in spite of the Wenchuan earthquake and the global financial crisis, our investment in Sichuan hit 38.6 billion yuan, doubling the amount even in such adverse situations,¡± said Chairman Tang.
