Currently the injured in the earthquake of Sichuan have stepped into the late stage of rehabilitation treatment. 14 medical workers of Zhejiang Group, National Medical Team of Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health went for Sichuan from Hangzhou today. As the first medical service group made up of the professional staff of the same clinical subject in Zhejiang, they will engage in the rehabilitation work for one month in Guangyuan and Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province respectively.

It¡¯s informed that the members of the Zhejiang Group, National Medical Team of Rehabilitation come from six comprehensive hospitals which are all good at rehabilitation treatment including the Provincial People¡¯s Hospital, the Affiliated Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital to Zhejiang University. They will deal with the work for the injured at the late rehabilitation stage and make the injured to be self-independent after they return to the society. Meanwhile, Zhejiang Group will help the local health departments to establish the ¡°Rehabilitation Center¡± and conduct the training work of both the rehabilitation medical knowledge and skills of the rehabilitation treatment.
