296 ZJ Enterprises Offering 10,000 Jobs for Quake-hit Area

Yesterday, the first rural migrant workers from the quake-hit areas set out for Zhejiang, filled with hope for a better future. They have been employed by 16 private enterprises in Wenzhou.
After the disastrous earthquake hit Wenchuan, enterprises and institutions all over Zhejiang have sent cordial invitations to our fellowmen there. Up till now, the first 296 enterprises have offered about 10,000 vacancies for people from the quake-stricken areas. Information about these positions has been delivered to the quake-stricken areas. Some relevant enterprises organized by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Labor Protection will hold recruitment fairs in quake-stricken areas such as Qingchuan.
It is learned from the Provincial Employment Bureau that Zhejiang will make a three-year employment assistance plan to provide positions to rural migrant workers with capabilities and intention of working in Zhejiang. Zhejiang will also provide vocational training programs for job hunters from quake-stricken areas who lack working skills.
