Path: HomePage -> NEWS -> To Help Sichuan Rebuild ZJ to Reconstruct Public Health System in Qingchuan 2008-6-26 17:58:54 Commissioned by the Zhejiang party committee and government and Ministry of Health, the provincial Department of Health made an urgent order to all the health organizations in the province to give assistance to the reconstruction of Qingchuan health systems. Tomorrow the first 262 medical workers will fly to Qingchuan to guarantee the reconstruction work will be embarked on by the end of this month. According to the schedule, by the end of June, Zhejiang will have taken over the work of the medical and disease prevention organizations in 36 villages and towns in Qingchuan. By the end of July, Zhejiang will begin to set up fundamental medical and health systems at the county, village and town levels, and earthquake refuge settlements in Qingchuan. By the end of September, the reconstruction work of fundamental medical and health systems will be accomplished. By the end of this year, the construction of temporary houses for the medical organizations at the county, village and town levels in Qingchuan will be completed. The medical and health services will be in operation by then. In three years, Zhejiang-assisted reconstruction of medical systems in Qingchuan will be accomplished.  It is learned that the first 262 medical workers will be replaced and transferred back to Zhejiang after serving three months in Qingchuan. The number of medical workers of the second batch will be decided on by the municipal cities and counties.
