On June 17th, the Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) Zhejiang Branch appropriated 100 million yuan of disaster relief fund to RCSC Guangyuan Branch for the education reconstruction at Qingchuan County of Guangyuan, as part of Zhejiang Province¡¯s targeted assistance. Till now, 120.0807 million yuan of relief fund and 78.0009 million yuan worth of relief goods, which RCSC Zhejiang Branch at the corresponding level has received in donations, have been sent to or used in the quake-devastated areas.

Before that, RCSC Zhejiang Branch had already allocated directly 7.9777 million yuan of relief fund to quake-hit areas and also pledged over 10 million yuan worth of disaster relief goods sent earlier to disaster-hit areas by the Provincial Government, as was required by the Office of the Leading Group of Zhejiang Province for Quake Relief. In addition, RCSC Zhejiang Branch has also sent to quake-hit areas 78.0009 million yuan worth of relief goods including clothes & blankets, food, medicine, medical devices, tents and so on.
