Zhejiang plans to receive over 3000 middle school and vocational school students from Guangyuan, an earthquake-stricken area in Sichuan. These students will be allocated into schools in nine cities, including Hangzhou, Ningbo and Wenzhou, etc. The first batch of the students will arrive in Zhejiang by June 10, and study in the related majors in the provincial key vocational schools.

According to the sources, Zhejiang Province has recently increased the fund to 360 million yuan for the use of helping Guangyuan with its local education. The donated fund to help Guangyuan City, especially Qingchuan County to rebuild the schools will be increased from the original 100 million to 200 million yuan.
