Wang Chengguo, male and Han nationality, was born in Jinan, Shandong Province, in February 1966. He began to work in July 1989 and joined the Communist Party of China in December 1987. He received postgraduate diplomas on the job, and degrees of Master of Laws and Master of Business Administration, and Doctor of Philosophy.

He was former deputy head of Fengtai District, Beijing, member of the Standing Committee of Beijing Chongwen District Committee of the CPC and deputy head of Chongwen District, Beijing, deputy director of Beijing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Committee, full-time deputy commander and commander of the Beijing-Hotan counterpart support Command, deputy secretary of Hotan Prefectural Committee of the CPC, deputy secretary-general of Beijing Municipal Government, and secretary of Pinggu District Committee of the CPC of Bejing. He is currently vice governor of Zhejiang Province and member of the provincial government Party group, secretary, director, and inspector of the Public Security Department of Zhejiang Province, and deputy secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPC.
